In partnership with Dr Kevin Jones, Medical Dean of the Bristol Swindon Academy, a link has been created between Bristol University Medical School and two mission hospitals near Masaka, Uganda. In 2013, eight students from Bristol Medical School visited Uganda for three weeks to undertake a project and this was so successful that 20 students went in 2014. This exciting project gives the students a life changing experience, exceptional medical insights and provides a strong morale and financial boost to the hospitals.
