We need volunteers to visit the hospitals we support in Uganda.  We are looking for physicians, surgeons, paediatricians, obstetricians, gynaecologists, GPs, radiographers, nurses and midwives.  There is a shortage of every branch of healthcare professional in this part of Africa.  We expect our volunteers to carry out teaching as well as treatment.

There is no age limit, but volunteers need to be fit and healthy and must be registered with the appropriate professional body in UK.

The Rotary Doctor Bank will pay all necessary expenses, such as travelling costs, vaccinations, malaria tablets,  visa costs and health insurance.

Accommodation is provided by the hospitals free of charge.
