Please look at the “Reminiscences” page to see an article written by our first Chairman, Rotarian George Mercer.   George visited hospitals in Uganda and Tanzania on two occasions.  As well as being Chairman, George was Co-ordinator, making all the arrangements for the visits of our volunteers.  George was Chairman from the start of the Rotary Doctor Bank, until 2001.
